Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for procurement with strategic and operational focus
- Development and implementation of procurement strategies, category management concepts, and cost optimization measures
- Leadership and further development of the purchasing team (professional and disciplinary)
- Optimization and digitization of procurement processes in cooperation with the IT department
- Supplier management including selection, evaluation, audits, and contract and price negotiations
- Operational management of procurement, materials management, and implementation of cost-saving opportunities
What you bring
- Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic and operational procurement, ideally with leadership experience
- Basic (electro-)technical knowledge, e.g., in the electrical industry or in renewable energy, is an advantage
- Confident handling of ERP systems and an interest in digital and AI-supported procurement solutions
- Very good German and English skills, as well as a team-oriented, cross-departmental way of working.
- Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality and willingness to travel for business (e.g., to suppliers or locations such as Sanski Most)
