Your tasks
- Identification of the demand for electrical, mechanical components and services in close collaboration with the specialist departments based on technical specifications, requirement specifications and applicable standards.
- Close collaboration with the technical departments, production, quality management, and logistics.
- Identification, evaluation, and development of suppliers also on an international level.
- Supplier negotiations, agreement on conditions, drafting of framework and delivery contracts, as well as regular monitoring.
- Identification and assessment of procurement risks including alternative suppliers and emergency plans.
- Market observation to identify new sources of supply and technologies, analysis of procurement costs and cost optimization.
- Participation in the further development of procurement processes.
What you bring
- Completed technical education in the field of electrical engineering, electrical master craftsman, electrical technician with background knowledge in the field of procurement.
- Experience in technical purchasing, preferably in the industry, mechanical engineering, or renewable energy sector is advantageous; ambitious beginners are welcome.
- Solid electrical engineering knowledge, understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and standards
- Strong analytical skills, technical affinity, and intercultural competence.
- German at native level as well as good English skills
- Initiative, innovative and convincing team player with joy in dealing with people.
