Your tasks
- Identification and acquisition of new customers as well as expansion of existing customer relationships in the customer group EPCs and project developers with a focus on Benelux (with the option to extend into the UK and Scandinavia)
- Building and maintaining long-term customer partnerships: you are the central contact person for existing and new customers throughout the entire sales phase – from the first contact to after-sales support
- Conducting sales pitches and pre-sales activities: presentations, needs analyses, and professional consulting of potential customers in the acquisition phase
- Development and implementation of strategies for market development and revenue growth
- Creation, presentation and negotiation of offers as well as contract closures
- Representation of the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows domestically
- Close collaboration with marketing, product management, and other internal interfaces
What you bring
- Several years of practical experience in the field of renewable energies, especially in the solar industry/photovoltaics (PV) - ideally in project business for utility-scale or ground-mounted systems; alternatively, experience in the electrical industry or energy sector
- Completed studies or a comparable education in electrical engineering, energy technology, renewable energies, industrial engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in sales, e.g., as Key Account Manager (m/f/d), Sales Engineer (m/f/d) or similar.
- Willingness to travel within the sales region (at least 30%) and a Class B driving license are required
- Excellent English skills (minimum C1 level); German language skills are an advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented, independent and structured way of working
- Nice to have: Experience or market knowledge in Great Britain and/or Scandinavia, as well as interest in a future expansion of the sales territory
