More than components – intelligent energy infrastructure for safe and efficient PV systems
HIS Renewables GmbH will demonstrate at Intersolar Europe 2026 (June 23-25) in the Munich Exhibition Center how well-thought-out system solutions make solar projects safer, more efficient, and more economical. At booth B4.409, the focus will be on three core areas: PV safety infrastructure, installation systems, and integrated energy systems. Live demonstrations such as an EMS dashboard give trade visitors an impression of real-life project implementation.
“Modern solar projects need more than individual components. To work reliably and efficiently, the underlying technical infrastructure must be designed as a system solution,” explains Oliver Glenz, Head of Sales, Product, and Business Development at HIS Renewables GmbH. “From shortened and secure installation to monitoring to intelligent energy storage, we are the engineering partner for that. At Intersolar we make this system competence tangible and show how our solutions work in practice and create future-proof energy systems.”

Detect PV errors before they lead to failures
In the field of PV security infrastructure, the company from southern Hesse's Oberzent presents the HISbox product family. The portfolio includes combiner systems with integrated insulation monitoring, fireman switch solutions for emergency shutdowns, and intelligent combiner systems with monitoring and communication interfaces. All solutions improve safety, monitoring, and operational transparency in PV systems. "With this, we create a safe PV infrastructure with integrated monitoring and emergency shutdown," summarizes Ahmed Zahoor, Head of Product Management at HIS Renewables GmbH.

Installation without on-site wiring
The second area shown at Intersolar is pre-assembled wiring solutions for solar installations. The HISkon+ copper wiring harnesses and the HISkon+ aluminum wiring harnesses are factory-assembled and clearly labeled, reducing installation time and minimizing wiring errors.
"Traditional installations require extensive manual wiring and crimping on site," says Oliver Glenz. "This is error-prone and labor-intensive – an important point in times of skilled labor shortages. With our plug-and-play wiring systems, this step is eliminated. It's faster and more reliable." This approach supports EPC companies through increased installation productivity and long-term system reliability.

As the third focus, HIS Renewables with HIS Energy shows how solar power generation, energy storage, and charging infrastructure can be combined into an intelligent energy system. The focus is not on the individual component, but on their interaction as an integrated solution for controlling energy flows and for the economic optimization of energy systems.
At the exhibition booth, visitors experience this system concept through real applications: A HISbatt battery cabinet, an 800-V plug-&-play battery container model for utility-scale applications, and an EVtap Duo Pro charger with calibration compliance and an integrated payment terminal are shown.
A live EMS touchscreen demonstrates how energy flows, battery operation, and system monitoring are controlled in practice using a current project.

“The economic benefit of energy storage does not arise solely from the battery itself, but through the interplay of hardware, control, and application. With HIS Energy, we connect battery storage, energy management, and charging infrastructure into an integrated energy system that flexibly controls energy flows and optimizes them economically,” explains Ahmed Zahoor.
