Turning the switch to future: HIK at the Odenwald Career Information Days 2026
From 19 February, it's that time again: HIK GmbH is bringing a buzz back to the classroom at the Odenwald Career Information Days (OBIT).
Since 2008, eighth and ninth grade students in the Odenwald region have had the opportunity to learn first-hand about training and study opportunities at regional companies.
With over 40 years of experience, HIK GmbH is one of the established companies in the electrical industry and offers a wide range of career paths.
From our training positions as mechatronics engineers, IT specialists, or industrial electricians to our expertise in cable assembly or switch cabinet construction. In two 45-minute workshops, we provide insights into our training occupations and areas of expertise.
It's not just about theory, but about real-world practice. Our workshops offer the opportunity to get to know training occupations in a very concrete way. That's why we have hands-on technology in the classroom. Some things are easier to understand when you test them yourself.
Through the obit-online.de portal, students can find out in advance about all participating companies and their training and study opportunities and register for their desired workshops before the winter break.
